The Role: Kitchen Porter

As Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. This is more than a traditional KP role; as a new and growing business, you’ll also be involved in wider kitchen operations and supporting the team wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen
  • Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
  • Assisting with deliveries, stock organisation, and waste management
  • Helping with general kitchen setup and breakdown
  • Being flexible and hands-on as the business grows, taking on additional tasks where needed

What We’re Looking For

  • A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
  • Willingness to get involved and support the wider kitchen team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential; the right attitude matters most
