SBC is a specialist firm practising in European and Domestic road transport regulatory law. We provide advisory and representation services to UK and European clients; we represent them before the Traffic Commissioners, on appeal to the Upper Tribunal, and in the High Court. We also represent clients before the Magistrates’ Court on motoring matters, and on Appeal to the Crown Court. We are a small collegiate team who prides itself on delivering the best service we can for our broad range of UK and international clients.

The role: We are looking to recruit a newly qualified to 3 years’ PQE solicitor who would like to join our team and work in our niche yet varied areas of law. Experience of road transport law or experience of motoring law cases/general Magistrates’ Court work is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Key duties include:

  • Advise our clients over the telephone, by email and in person.
  • Represent our clients before the Courts and Tribunals of the UK.
  • Managing your own caseload for UK and European clients, with full support.
  • Provide clear, and commercially sound legal advice.
  • Actively participate in networking and business development.
  • Travelling to the courts, tribunals, and client premises across the UK (Full driver’s licence and vehicle required).
