Job Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on Transport Coordinator with London knowledge and some driving experience. This role involves coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, and assisting in the warehouse as needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and comfortable working both behind a desk and on the warehouse floor.

Shift: From 07:00 to 16:00 (with one hour break), Monday to Saturday, 2 days Off including Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate deliveries and collections across London.
  • Support drivers with route planning and traffic advice.
  • Assist in loading/unloading and warehouse operations when needed.
  • Monitor vehicle usage, performance, and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and transport costs.
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Resolve transport‑related issues, delays, or emergencies promptly.
  • Suggest improvements for route efficiency, cost savings, and warehouse workflow.
  • Check the returns from customers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of London roads, traffic patterns, and delivery zones.
  • Some driving experience (light vans or similar vehicles preferred).
  • Previous experience in transport coordination, logistics, or warehouse support is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport management software (or willingness to learn).
