The Role: Kitchen Assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. This is a hands‑on role within a growing business, where no two days are the same. Alongside supporting food preparation and kitchen operations, you’ll work closely with the wider team to help maintain the high standards expected within a premium food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting chefs and the kitchen team with food preparation and daily tasks
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation throughout the kitchen
  • Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Supporting with deliveries, stock rotation, and ingredient organisation
  • Assisting with kitchen setup, packing, and general operational duties
  • Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
  • Being flexible and proactive in supporting the team as the business grows
