About the role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for manufacturing customised endless conveyor belts to customer specifications, quality standards, and production targets.

Working as part of a skilled production team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products safely, efficiently, and in line with our lean manufacturing principles.

This is a hands‑on role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Manufacturing customised endless conveyor belts in accordance with technical specifications and standard operating procedures.
  • Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Preparing materials and carry out finishing processes as required.
  • Inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Completing all production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Organising workload effectively to achieve daily output targets and efficiency rates.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Participating in risk assessments, safety audits, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives and support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Carrying out additional reasonable duties as required to support the production team.

About You

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential as training will be provided).
  • Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions accurately.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
