Salary: £16.50 + per hour (Depending on experience)

The Role

To carry out all winding tasks in the workshop and to locate, repair or replace damaged coils or completely rewind all the wire coils used in electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • To bring electro/mechanical knowledge to our Winding Shop, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures and transformers
  • To carry out works of both low voltage and high voltage rewinds and refurbishment of high and low voltage electric motors and generators
  • To be available for call out shift, as per a call out rota

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven experience in winding, specifically to rewind AC and DC motors, stators, armatures and transformers
  • Customer and solution focussed
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE
  • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours
  • Attention to detail with good communications skills
