The team provides expert advice, support, and challenge to managers, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and best practice accounting standards. Responsibilities include producing statutory reports, managing the balance sheet, and overseeing the fixed asset register. Location : Bristol, Nottingham, Swansea Salary : £46,848 per annum Job Description As a senior member of the Financial Accounting team, you will participate across the full scope of the team\’s remit, with a rotation through specialization areas such as Financial Accounting or Fixed Asset Accounting to promote staff development. Financial Accounting : Lead responsibility for financial assurance, governance, managing accounting policies, ensuring IFRS and FReM compliance, producing the Annual Report and Accounts, managing period-end close, and overseeing the audit process. Fixed Asset Accounting : Maintain governance over fixed assets, support capital strategies, ensure IFRS and FReM compliance, and prepare regular reports for Boards and the Annual Report. The role may include line management responsibilities. Person Specification Qualified accountant with experience in IFRS, FReM, or other statutory reporting frameworks.
