The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join their friendly Family Law team.
You may be looking to take your first steps into a Legal position, or you may already have experience.
The Family Legal Assistant will provide direct support to the Practitioner, for example by:
- Assisting clients both in person and by telephone, providing support in a professional and friendly manner
- Making appointments, arranging meetings and diary management for the Practitioner
- Providing support and guidance to other members of the team and wider team
- Preparing correspondence and documents including audiotyping
- File management
- Preparing mail and enclosures for despatch
- Arranging for all copying to be completed
- Securing the confidentiality and security of the firms client documentation and information
- Committing time to training and self-development
Skills And Qualifications
- Excellent communication and administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Friendly, proactive and a positive attitude
- Knowledge of dictation / BigHand preferred
- Use of P4W case management system preferred but not essential as training will be provided
