Overview

Location: Winlaton

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Hours Per Week: Full time and part time available

Please note: this role does not qualify for sponsorship, this is due to the hours available do not meet the guidelines set by the Home Office.

The Role

Looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? As an Enabling Support Worker, you’ll be there to cheer people on and help them live their best lives. You’ll follow their lead and their personalised support plan to provide the care and encouragement they need.

Your day-to-day will include keeping accurate records (they’ll show you how) and sometimes helping with personal care or medication. There’s also the possibility to cover sleep-in shifts, with an extra £60 per session for those.

You’ll support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses to build independence, develop everyday life skills, and pursue personal goals.

The Role Involves

  • Supporting people in maintaining their homes
  • Assisting with shopping and cooking
  • Enabling access to community groups and volunteering opportunities
  • Providing compassionate support with personal care and medication

Their flexible shift patterns include a mix of longer days and shorter domiciliary-style shifts, designed to meet the varied needs of those they support. No two days are the same.
