Salary: £16.78 per hour weekdays and £19.01 per hour weekends (Time and a half on bank holidays)

Theyre looking for a compassionate, client-focused Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting a young gentleman who enjoys engaging conversation, social outings, and being part of the community. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, friendly and genuinely committed to making a positive impact in someones everyday life. You will be assisting the client with his care, independence and day-to-day support within his own home, working closely with a supportive and experienced care team.
The client is a 20-year-old gentleman with cerebral palsy. He lives with his lovely family in Horsham and enjoys the company of others. He is very sociable and has a great sense of humour. He enjoys watching and talking about football, going out and meeting people and playing on his Playstation at home. He uses a wheelchair in the community but can manage short distances with support and a walking aid.

- Induction and training programme offering support and guidance every step of the way.
- Regular supervision/appraisal with your team leader and ongoing support from the wider team and therapists.

- Regular shifts available after school, weekends and school holidays
Support Requirements
- Experience of working in a supporting role is desirable.
- Able to deal with sensitive personal care tasks.
- A full driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role, which includes driving the clients automatic car
- Up to date DBS at enhanced level the employer will pay if you need to apply.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
