We are looking for an experienced, organised and motivated Lead Dental Nurse to join our well-established, modern private dental practice in High Wycombe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Dental Nurse who is ready to take more responsibility, lead and support the nursing team and help maintain the high clinical and patient-care standards expected within a private practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and coordinate the dental nursing team
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical areas
- Support clinicians with high-quality chairside assistance
- Maintain excellent infection prevention and control standards
- Oversee clinical stock, ordering and inventory
- Ensure equipment servicing and maintenance schedules are up to date
- Support clinical audits, compliance and CQC requirements
- Train, mentor and support new and existing nursing team members
- Help maintain efficient clinical systems and workflows
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinicians to maintain consistently high standards
What We are Looking For
- GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Good dental nursing experience, ideally within private dentistry
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of infection control and clinical standards
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Proactive, reliable and able to take ownership
- Positive attitude with a strong team focus
- Passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience
