We're hiring a part-time Specialist in Orthodontics at various locations across Cornwall. Salary is competitive with a bonus of a 'Golden Hello'. Closing date for applications is 31st May 2026.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthodontic Specialist to provide exceptional care within our established NHS primary care orthodontic service. You'll be part of a supportive environment that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to patient wellbeing.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the clinical team, providing expert guidance and supporting high standards of care.
- Developing and supporting the role of a new Orthodontic Therapist, contributing to service innovation and enhanced patient care.
- Providing high-quality specialist orthodontic assessments, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment planning for a wide range of orthodontic cases.
- Delivering a range of orthodontic solutions including fixed appliances, aesthetic options, and clear aligner therapy (e.g., Invisalign).
- Working collaboratively with dentists, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient journeys.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and upholding the highest standards of clinical governance.
- Communicating clearly with patients and their families to explain treatment options and progress.
- Working closely with referring dentists and local providers to maintain strong clinical pathways and professional relationships.
- Contributing to the positive, patient-centred culture of the practice.
What You'll Bring:
- GDC specialist orthodontist registration (without conditions).
- Current NHS Performer Number.
- Experience in providing NHS orthodontic care within a primary care setting.
