Are you a UK-based Specialist Orthodontist considering a move to Australia or New Zealand? Smile Partners is Australia and New Zealand’s largest specialist orthodontic network, supporting independently branded, orthodontist-led practices across both countries. We are continuing to grow and are interested in speaking with orthodontists who may be considering relocation now or in the future. Whether you are actively exploring a move, nearing completion of specialist training, or simply curious about what a long-term opportunity in Australia or New Zealand could look like, we would welcome a confidential conversation.

We have current and future opportunities across established specialist orthodontic practices, including major metropolitan locations, coastal lifestyle markets and long-term growth regions. Depending on the practice and location, opportunities may include:

  • established patient demand and local reputation
  • clinical autonomy and respect for your treatment philosophy
  • experienced clinical, auxiliary and treatment coordinator teams
  • operational support across HR, finance, marketing, compliance and practice operations
  • mentorship, peer connection and clinical collaboration
  • support with relocation, registration and visa pathways where applicable
  • potential longer-term pathways to practice equity or partnership

Relocating internationally is a significant personal and professional decision. We have experience supporting overseas-trained orthodontists through the process and understand the practical considerations involved, from registration and visa pathways through to practice fit, clinical integration, local team support and settling into a new community. Depending on your goals, we can talk through location options, remuneration, registration, visa requirements, relocation support, mentorship, ownership pathways and what day-to-day practice life can look like across Australia and New Zealand.

Our practices retain their local identity and independent brands, while being supported by a dedicated orthodontic network. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Our role is to support great orthodontists with the operational, commercial and professional backing they need, while preserving clinical autonomy and high-quality patient care.

We will be attending the British Orthodontic Conference in Brighton from 24–26 September 2026 and would be happy to arrange a confidential coffee during the conference. We will also be in the UK around BOC, so if you would prefer to meet beforehand or outside the conference environment, we would be happy to arrange a conversation in your city where possible.
