What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and guiding a Teaching Assistant to enhance learning outcomes
  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive environment
  • Marking and assessing student work with clear, constructive feedback
  • Supporting the academic and emotional development of Year 1 pupils

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS or PGCE – ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
  • Solid understanding of the UK Primary Curriculum
  • A passion for teaching and a genuine drive to help children succeed
  • Ability to engage and support pupils on a 1:1, group, and whole-class basis
  • Strong references demonstrating experience with children
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education)
