What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons aligned with the Year 1 curriculum
- Leading and guiding a Teaching Assistant to enhance learning outcomes
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive environment
- Marking and assessing student work with clear, constructive feedback
- Supporting the academic and emotional development of Year 1 pupils
- Collaborating with a dynamic team and contributing to a thriving school culture.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS or PGCE – ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
- Solid understanding of the UK Primary Curriculum
- A passion for teaching and a genuine drive to help children succeed
- Ability to engage and support pupils on a 1:1, group, and whole-class basis
- Strong references demonstrating experience with children
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education)
