Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Yarm.
Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: Yarm Pay: £95–£110 per day Contract: Temporary, with potential for ongoing work
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can support pupils across the classroom and work effectively alongside teaching staff.
The Role
- Support pupils with their learning and development
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
- Provide targeted support to pupils who require additional assistance
- Support pupils with SEND where required
- Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and resources
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
- Promote inclusion and encourage all pupils to participate
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable
- A valid DBS on the Update Service is preferred
- Contactable school references
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children and their education
