This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who enjoys variety in their role, working across multiple settings supporting both primary and secondary pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across a variety of SEN settings
- Provide high-quality cover for planned and unplanned staff absences
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and student needs
- Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning
- Manage behaviour effectively using school policies and strategies
- Support pupils’ academic progress and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion always

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ESSENTIAL
- Experience working with SEN pupils (minimum 3 months)
- Strong behaviour management and adaptability
- Professional and flexible approach to working in different settings
- Committed to full time work and reliability
- Able to provide a minimum of 2 references covering the past two years
- Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
