We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are committed to helping children thrive academically, socially and emotionally while supporting teachers to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
The Role
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to raise attainment.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Support children with SEND, adapting learning where required.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Prepare classroom resources and assist with daily classroom activities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and school staff.
About You
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent relevant experience).
- A minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience within a primary school.
- Experience supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND (desirable).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Requirements
- Hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Have at least 6 months' UK classroom experience.
- Be able to provide two years of professional references.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Smile Education.
- Have the Right to Work in the UK (please note that sponsorship is not available).
