Are you confident communicating and managing a classroom environment, even though you don’t yet hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? Smile Education are recruiting on behalf of Shireland Biomedical Academy for Unqualified Teachers to support teaching and learning across the school. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills, and who are exploring teaching as a long‑term career pathway. Qualified Teacher Status is not required for this role. Training, support and mentoring will be provided for successful candidates.

What the Role Involves
Unqualified Teachers may be responsible for:
- Delivering and leading pre‑prepared lessons across subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning atmosphere
- Communicating instructions clearly and confidently
- Supporting students in understanding work and completing tasks
- Following school procedures and behaviour systems
- Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement
