Smile Education is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wednesbury to recruit a strong and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 class. This is a full-time, long-term role, starting ASAP, ideal for a confident TA who thrives in a busy KS1 learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in a KS1 classroom
- Working 1:1 and with small groups
- Supporting phonics, early reading, writing, and number
- Assisting with personal care routines where required
- Supporting social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS team
Requirements
- Previous experience in KS1
- Confident supporting phonics and early learning
- Calm, proactive, and nurturing approach
