About the Role
We are looking for a caring, dedicated Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 qualified) to join our friendly and nurturing nursery in East London, working primarily with children under the age of 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and understands the importance of providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment during a child’s earliest years.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–2 years
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Carry out observations, assessments, and progress records
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment at all times
- Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
- Proven experience working with children under 2
- A sound understanding of the EYFS, particularly for babies and toddlers
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
