Our school is located in the Cannock, Hednesford area, easily accessible by car or public transport.
We are looking for a dedicated Level 2/3 qualified teaching assistant to support a KS1 class.
What your day will look like:
- Getting the classroom ready for lessons
- Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
- Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
- Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
- Supervising group activities
- Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
- Leading reading groups
- Supporting in the delivery of Phonics schemes within the school
- Leading intervention groups for lower ability children
What you need to apply:
- Evidence of working with children through adequate references
- Passion and drive for supporting children within schools
- Experience with Primary curriculum
- Relevant qualifications for example: Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning within schools.
