Teaching Assistants Wanted – Full & Part-Time Roles | Start ASAP or September!

Are you passionate about education and ready to make a real difference in the classroom? Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we’re looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join fantastic schools across Walsall on a long-term basis. We have full-time roles (8:30am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri) and flexible part-time opportunities available — starting immediately or from September.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting classroom activities under the direction of the class teacher
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups, including with pupils with SEN, SEMH, EAL or behavioural needs
  • Assisting with education and behaviour plans
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and self-esteem
  • Giving feedback to help pupils grow
  • Supporting classroom displays and organisation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (we’ll ask for references)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum is a bonus
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 in Supporting Teaching & Learning)
