Year 3 Class Teacher

Smile Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Year 3 Teacher for a wonderful primary school based in the Stafford area (ST17). This is a full class teacher role, planning and delivering lessons to a Year 3 class. The role involves building relationships and ensuring strategies are in place to ensure every child can achieve their potential.
Experience with EAL or if you can speak additional languages would be a bonus!
The role:
- Full-time position starting after half term
- Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
- Planning and preparing captivating lessons to promote pupil progress
- Adapting resources to support children with additional needs
- Liaising with support staff to ensure every child has 1:1 support with their learning where possible
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks including enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); sufficient references, qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.
