We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate specialist provision teacher to join a welcoming specialist school in the Newham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and enjoys supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning, build confidence and achieve their potential. Our specialist provision supports pupils with a range of special educational needs within a structured, nurturing environment where consistency, relationships and high-quality teaching are central to everyday practice.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching within a specialist provision
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of learning, social and emotional needs
  • Support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and personal development
  • Create a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver effective provision
  • Contribute to individual education plans and EHCP outcomes
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress to inform next steps
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

Who We’re Looking For

  • PGCE and QTS (essential – non-negotiable)
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN or within a specialist provision is highly desirable
  • Primary-trained teachers are very welcome to apply
  • A patient, resilient and reflective approach to teaching
  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
