This opportunity would suit an experienced Science Teacher or an ECT looking to develop within a school that values high standards, strong relationships and engaging teaching practices.
The Role:
- As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage curiosity and help students develop confidence across the Science curriculum.
- You will be joining a welcoming department committed to achieving positive outcomes for students.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics across the curriculum where required
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the wider department and school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for Science and inspiring young people
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
