The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across the secondary age range.
- Inspire students to develop their scientific knowledge, curiosity and problem-solving skills.
- Make complex scientific concepts accessible through clear explanations and practical learning opportunities.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Science Department to support curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has strong subject knowledge in Physics and experience teaching at secondary level.
- Can deliver engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students of different abilities.
- Has effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Is reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic about teaching Science.
