Job Overview

Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Melton Mowbray who require additional support in one of their Reception Classes with a small number of special needs pupils. The school are keen to meet experienced Teaching Assistants/LSAs in Early Years to join them on a long-term basis. These positions will start inJanuaryand last for the remainder of the academic year.

My client primary school are keen to meet caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants who are interested in supporting pupils with special needs. This community primary school are driven by providing an inclusive education to all pupils.

The school would love to meet any Teaching Assistants that have practical and theoretical knowledge of SEND, especially those with an interest in Autism and that have worked with the younger years in EYFS or KS1. They are looking for the recruited teaching assistant to work on a full-time basis in order that they establish a good working bond with the pupil they support.

If you’re a psychology graduate looking to gain a few years’ experience en-route to becoming an Educational Psychologist this could be the perfect school for you.
