The Role

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Promote curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific enquiry
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined learning environment
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, attainment, and progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend staff meetings
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

About You

  • A bachelor’s degree in any science or related subject
  • QTS (or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science education
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • A passion for helping students build confidence and achieve success
