Smile Education are recruiting for reliable and professional Minibus Drivers to support a secondary school in Redditch with educational visits and school trips. This is a temporary position, with drivers being booked on a casual basis to support planned trips throughout the academic year.
As a Minibus Driver, your responsibilities will include safely transporting students and staff to and from educational visits, sporting fixtures and enrichment activities. You will play a key role in ensuring pupils arrive at their destinations safely, on time and in accordance with school safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each journey.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all passengers throughout the trip.
- Adhere to all road traffic legislation and school transport policies.
- Maintain professional standards when representing the school at external venues.
- Complete any required journey logs and vehicle documentation.
- Liaise effectively with school staff regarding collection and drop-off arrangements.
- Report any incidents, accidents or vehicle concerns promptly.
- Ensure the minibus is kept clean, tidy and roadworthy.
- Full UK driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive a school minibus.
- Previous minibus driving experience is desirable.
