Smile Education are recruiting for a Dance & Drama Instructor for a maternity cover role at a Secondary School near Redditch. This position is ideal for applicants with performance-based or coaching backgrounds who are keen to transfer their skills into education. The role is due to begin after February Half Term, with the potential to continue long-term for the right candidate.

The Performing Arts department is supportive, friendly and enjoys showcasing student talent through enrichment, workshops and productions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead practical Dance and Drama sessions across KS3 (and some KS4 support)
- Guide students through choreography, movement and performance tasks
- Support confidence, communication and teamwork
- Assist with preparation for assessments and small productions
- Contribute to extracurricular enrichment such as clubs or showcases
- Create a positive, inclusive and enthusiastic learning environment
Who We’re Looking For
You do not need to be a qualified teacher to apply for this role. We welcome applications from:
