Job description:

Primary Teacher – September start in Greater Manchester - Stockport area

Start Date: September 2026

Full-Time, Long-term

Smile Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Stockport area who are seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2026. This is a full-time role teaching a Year 3 class.

The school is looking for a confident and strong classroom practitioner who can quickly build positive relationships, maintain high expectations and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recent experience teaching within KS2
  • Be confident teaching a Year 3 class
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
  • Be reliable, adaptable and committed
  • Work effectively as part of a wider school team

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous UK primary teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum

Please note: this role is not suitable for ECTs due to the level of experience required.
