Experienced Primary Teacher – Year 3
Location: WV14, Bilston, West Midlands
Employer: Smile Education
Length of Role: After February Half-term, long-term

Role Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress through formal and informal methods, using this information to inform future planning
  • Create a safe, stimulating classroom that encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support learning and behaviour
  • Contribute to whole-school activities, meetings, and events as part of the wider teaching team
  • Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour, work ethic, and personal conduct in line with school policies

You’ll need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching in KS2 (including delivering core subjects)
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills
  • An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
