Smile Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our partnership schools within the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust in Wolverhampton. This Secondary SEN School is dedicated to providing high-quality education to students with a wide range of additional needs, including:
- SpLD β Specific Learning Difficulty
- OTH β Other Difficulty/Disability
- SLCN β Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- ASD β Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- SEMH β Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs
- PD β Physical Disability
- PMLD β Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty
The Role:
- Full-time position starting mid-September until January 2026 (with the possibility of extension)
- Delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to meet a range of student needs
- Taking responsibility for planning, marking, and assessment
- Working as part of a collaborative and supportive teaching team
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) β essential
- Previous experience supporting students with SEN
- Confident delivering the full teaching role with enthusiasm and adaptability
- Strong commitment to student progress, well-being, and inclusion
- Able to provide a minimum of 2 references commenting on your interaction with children covering the past 2 years
- Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
