The Specialist SEN Team at Smile Education are proud to be supporting the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust in recruiting a Qualified SEN Teacher (QTS required) for a full-time position at Two Rivers High School in Tamworth. Two Rivers High School is a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking special school for students aged 11–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The school champions lifelong learning—believing that every day brings new opportunities for both pupils and adults to grow.

About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching position from January until at least Easter
  • Teach small classes of students aged 11–19 with a range of additional needs
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – no other qualifications will be considered
  • Strong experience and understanding of supporting children with additional needs
  • Ability to differentiate work effectively for varying abilities
  • Committed to creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Willing to engage fully in school life and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Able to commit to a full-time role for the duration of the placement
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Smile Education)
  • Two references covering the last two years, including comments on your work with children
