We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Telford, supporting children across the Early Years Unit, including both Nursery and Reception classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with Early Years experience who is confident working both independently and as part of a team, following the guidance of the class teacher to support children's learning and development.
The Role:
- Support teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception.
- Assist with play-based learning activities and early development goals.
- Work proactively using your own initiative while following teacher direction.
- Help create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
- Support children with their social, emotional, and educational development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Confident supporting young children's learning and development.
- Able to work independently and adapt to the needs of the classroom.
- Experience supporting children with SEND would be highly desirable.
- Reliable and available for the full 4-week placement.
