Overview
Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school near Solihull for an MFL Spanish Teacher to provide long-term cover. This is a full teaching role starting ASAP, expected to last until the summer break, with full responsibilities including planning, teaching, and assessment.
The Role
- Teaching mainly Spanish and some French/German across the relevant middle school age range
- Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Taking on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment
- Working collaboratively within a supportive MFL department and wider school team
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Subject specialism in Languages
- Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term placement
- Strong classroom management and a positive approach to teaching MFL
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
