Overview

Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school near Solihull for an MFL Spanish Teacher to provide long-term cover. This is a full teaching role starting ASAP, expected to last until the summer break, with full responsibilities including planning, teaching, and assessment.

The Role

  • Teaching mainly Spanish and some French/German across the relevant middle school age range
  • Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Taking on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive MFL department and wider school team

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Subject specialism in Languages
  • Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term placement
  • Strong classroom management and a positive approach to teaching MFL
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
