Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
- Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage within the schools pre-school classroom
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
- Helping to plan, engaging learning activitiesand lessons weekly
- Promoting a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment
- Assisting with observations, assessments and classroom routines
- Managing a group of approximately 8 Key Children – monitoring individual development progress
- Maintaining a strong and positive parent partnership
Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent
- Have previous experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or school)
- Be passionate about early childhood development
- Be warm, reliable and proactive in supporting children’s needs
- Have experience as a Key worker and monitoring individual development needs and progress
