We are currently recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, long-term basis at a welcoming primary school in the Greater Manchester area. This role is for the full academic year and offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 4 within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support for Year 4 pupils
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and progress
- Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions
- Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those requiring additional support
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and assessment support
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other support staff
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
- Confidence working independently and delivering interventions
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A caring, proactive, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
