Our school is located in the Cannock, Hednesford area, easily accessible by car or public transport.
They are looking for a dedicated Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to support a KS1 class.
- What your day will look like
- getting the classroom ready for lessons
- helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
- helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
- supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
- supervising group activities
- clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
- leading reading groups
- supporting in the delivery of Phonics schemes within the school
- leading intervention groups for lower ability children
What you need to apply
- Evidence of working with children through adequate references
- Passion and drive for supporting children within schools
- Experience with Primary curriculum
- Relevant qualifications for example: Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning within schools.
