Smile Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Redditch, part of Bordesley Multi Academy Trust. This is a part-time maternity cover position, working 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday) from December 2025 until the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher looking to make a real difference within a supportive and high-achieving school environment.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 1.
- Share planning and assessment responsibilities as part of a job share.
- Create engaging and inclusive lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
- Maintain high expectations for pupils’ progress and behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 classroom.
- A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a job share.
