Behaviour Mentor (SEN Setting) – Full Time
Location: B60
Pay: £95 – £120 per day (based on experience)

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, particularly those who require behavioural and emotional support.
The Role
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH and Autism.
- Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support.
- Implement behaviour management strategies consistently.
- Support pupils in regulating emotions and developing coping strategies.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement.
- Work alongside teaching staff to support learning in the classroom.
- Help de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Monitor and report on pupil behaviour and progress.
- Contribute to a safe, structured, and supportive school environment.
- Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing at all times.

Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN or behavioural needs.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs).
- Previous experience in a school or alternative provision setting (desirable).
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils.
- Reliable and committed to full-time work.
- Able to provide at least two references covering the last two years.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
