Smile Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or Level 3 qualified or recent relevant degree) to work across a range of Early Years settings in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate early years professionals looking for flexible work or longer-term placements within supportive settings.
The Role
- Supporting children aged 0–5 within nursery and Early Years environments
- Delivering engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and physical development
- Working collaboratively with practitioners and following setting policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years or a recent education degree
- Have experience working within Early Years or nursery settings
- Demonstrate a caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Be reliable, adaptable and confident working in different settings
