Pay: £140–£200 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess progress and adapt teaching to maximise pupil achievement.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience (placements accepted for ECTs).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding primary education.
  • A positive, child-centred approach to teaching and learning.

Essential Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
  • Ability to provide two years of employment and/or education references, including one relating to working with children.
  • Right to work in the UK.
