Smile Education are recruiting for a Computer Science to work in an SEMH school across two sites in central Birmingham. The schools have a great staff ethos and work very hard together to reach the best results.

The role would be starting in September and across two different sites, teaching great students. The hours would be 8:30 until around 4/4/:30

The responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher role:

  • Plan and deliver captivating subject lessons to students in line with the curriculum
  • Focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking
  • assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurturing a love for learning will be central to your role.
  • Be able to structure lesson plans for different level of student needs.

To apply for this Computer Science Teacher role, you will need the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in education in a related field.
  • Teaching certification or QTS.
  • Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
  • Have experience or the desire to work within an SEN setting.
