Pay: £90-£110 per day

Smile Education is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support an internal provision base in a supportive and well‑led Codsall school. This is a long‑term role ideal for someone experienced with SEND and SEMH needs, looking to make an immediate impact.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND in a dedicated provision base
  • Working closely with the HLTA
  • Delivering 1:1 and small group support
  • Managing behaviour and supporting SEMH needs
  • Creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting SEND pupils (essential)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Confident supporting SEMH / complex needs

Qualifications required:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE)
  • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
  • Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)
  • Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator)
  • Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development
  • Level 3 T Level in Education and Early Years (with placement completed)
  • Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning
  • Level 2 or 3 Specialist Supporting Teaching & Learning
  • Level 2 or 3 Children and Young Persons Workforce
