Smile Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our valued partnerships within the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Burton-on-Trent on a part‑time basis (3 days per week).
About the Role
This is a full class teacher role, and the successful candidate will be expected to fully immerse themselves in all aspects of teaching and learning. Responsibilities will include:
- Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Key Stage 2 lessons
- Taking full responsibility for the class during working days
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and leadership
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Recent and relevant experience teaching Key Stage 2
- Availability to commit from January until February half term
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A professional, proactive, and flexible approach
Safeguarding & Compliance
Interviews will take place in the first week of January, with full safeguarding and compliance checks completed. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or a willingness to apply for a new DBS through Smile Education.
