The Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across different year groups.
- Assist pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN.
- Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
- Monitor and record pupil progress where required.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion at all times.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with children (minimum 3 months preferred).
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
- A professional, caring and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and reliable – schools value consistency.
- Able to provide a minimum of two references covering the past two years (one must comment on your work with children).
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Smile Education.
