Smile Education are currently recruiting for an experienced School Site Supervisor to start from next week at a Secondary School in the Perry Barr area. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a range of site management duties including:
- Opening and locking the school site each day
- Carrying out general site maintenance and repairs
- Painting and decorating where required
- Moving tables, chairs, and other school furniture
- Undertaking grounds maintenance, including using equipment such as strimmers
- Maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and security of the school site
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
- Supporting the school with general site duties as required
- Working in a proactive and organised manner to ensure the site is well maintained
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working as a School Site Supervisor, Caretaker, or Site Manager
- Be confident carrying out general maintenance and DIY tasks
- Have experience using grounds maintenance equipment, including strimmers
- Be reliable, professional, and self-motivated
- Have a good understanding of health and safety procedures within a school environment
- Be able to work independently and manage a varied workload
