Year 5 Class Teacher

The Role

• Full responsibility for a Year 5 class.
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on pupil progress.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children can succeed.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupil achievement.
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and attainment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for pupils.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
