Location: Worcester

Pay: £140 – £180 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date: Summer Term with long-term opportunities from September

Smile Education is seeking caring and motivated SEN Teachers to work within specialist schools and SEN provisions across Worcester. This opportunity is ideal for teachers who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and who can create engaging, safe and supportive learning environments. Roles are available across both primary and secondary SEN settings.

The Role

  • Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with SEN including Autism, SEMH and communication needs.
  • Implement EHCPs and personalised learning programmes.
  • Differentiating learning to support individual pupil progress.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals.
  • Assess and track student development and attainment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Promote inclusion and safeguarding throughout the school environment.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
  • Previous SEN or alternative provision experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion.
  • Positive and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
  • Reliable and committed to full-time work.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join supportive schools across Worcester and positively impact the lives of pupils with additional needs.

We are committed to safeguarding children. Each applicant will be expected to undertake compliance checks including Prohibited List, Barred List, DBS and qualification checks. Successful applicants must be able to provide a minimum of two references covering the last two years, with at least one reference commenting on their interaction and work with children.
